NOAH is a data platform designed to democratize flood risk data for engineering companies and data engineers. The platform aims to provide users with easy access to valuable data on flood risk to enable more informed decision-making.
The existing flood risk data platforms in the market are expensive, difficult to use and inaccessible to smaller engineering companies and data engineers. This makes it difficult for these companies to access and analyze the data required to make informed decisions on flood risk.
The design process for NOAH involved conducting research to understand the needs of the target audience, developing a UX design to provide a seamless experience, and building a product that is user-friendly and accessible to engineering companies and data engineers.
The research phase involved conducting interviews with data engineers, engineering companies, and industry experts. This helped in identifying the pain points and challenges faced by the target audience. The research also involved analyzing competitor platforms to understand their strengths and weaknesses.
The UX design phase involved creating user personas to understand the specific needs of the target audience. Based on these personas, we developed user journeys to map out the user experience. This helped in identifying the key features required for the platform. We then created wireframes and prototypes to test the user experience and refine the design.
The product design phase involved building the platform with a focus on user-friendly design and accessibility. We included features such as a map interface for visualizing flood risk data and a dashboard to enable users to view and analyze the data. The platform was also designed with a responsive design to ensure that it is accessible across different devices.
