The I+T Council Portal is an intranet platform developed to provide a central hub for members of the Innovation and Transformation Council. The platform aims to provide council members with access to tools, events, and resources related to real estate innovation.
The Innovation and Transformation Council is a group of individuals dedicated to driving real estate innovation. However, there was no central location for the council members to access their events, tools, and resources. This led to a lack of communication and collaboration among council members, causing delays in their innovation efforts.
To design a user-centric portal, we conducted user research to understand the needs and pain points of the council members. We interviewed council members to gain insights into their expectations and requirements for the portal. Based on our research, we identified the following user needs:
- Easy navigation and access to relevant information
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with other council members
- Access to exclusive resources related to real estate innovation
- Personalized experience based on their role in the council

Based on our research, we designed a platform that caters to the specific needs of the council members. The I+T Council Portal has the following features:
- A personalized dashboard that provides quick access to relevant information based on their role in the council
- A comprehensive calendar of events that can be filtered based on their interests and preferences
- A knowledge base that contains exclusive resources related to real estate innovation
- A discussion forum where council members can collaborate and communicate with each other
- A feedback mechanism to provide suggestions and ideas to the council
The I+T Council Portal was launched successfully and received positive feedback from the council members. The platform has led to improved collaboration and communication among council members, resulting in more efficient innovation efforts. The portal has been accessed by over 100 council members, and user feedback has been consistently positive.
